J.G. Blodgett is an independent writer, director, and producer based in Prescott, Arizona, working under the banner OFFTrail Pictures. Trained at the College of Southern Nevada, he brings a director’s eye and a collaborator’s instincts to every project.
His short films — the psychological thriller A Case for Vengeance and the experimental horror piece Go Look — lean into atmosphere, restraint, and dread that lingers past the credits.
Known for building tight, resourceful crews and pushing unconventional gear (iPhone cinema rigs included) to get the shot right, he thrives on collaboration as much as craft. His work spans screenwriting, poetry, and a growing catalog on YouTube, all built around one instinct: go looking at what most stories look away from.
